Currently January 2014!!

I can not believe it's 2014 already. Literally, time flew by...well at least Christmas break did :( I am excited to see what 2014 brings and try to make it a positive, encouraging year :) So once again I'm joining up with Farley to do my monthly Currently!!

Enjoy! And don't forget my store is still 15% off right now :)

Happy January!!!

  1. I had stories to grade over break and am so thankful I did them the weekend before Christmas! Good luck!

    1. I know...I'm half way done. I'm doing like 8-10 a day so I don't get overwhelmed or start taking out my frustration of their silly mistakes on their papers ;)

  2. We are planning a family walk today too. The weather is beautiful is CA right now so why not take advantage of it, right? Good luck grading those essays..no fun. Happy New Year!

  3. My grading is done, but I have been putting off finishing a paper for grad school for over two weeks! It's not even that hard, I just can't make myself sit down and do it (just like my own students!).

Good luck with the grading, and with 2014!

    1. I know...I just have to sit down and do it.......JUST like we tell the kids to do. Practice what I teach ;) Happy 2014!

  4. Yep, I could use an extra week of break too. A week without any holidays or traveling, just a time to mentally prepare for getting back into the swing of things. I'm jealous that it's warm enough where you live to go for a walk! I think I am going to make myself get on my spin bike tonight since it's freezing here.

    1. The mental preparation is what's tough. It was sunnier than warm on my walk...I was really chilly :/ Spin bike sounds fun :) Happy 2014!

  6. Oh, I'll totally take the additional week of break. I'm sure I'd love it now, but regret it later in June.

  7. I'm gluten-free as well and I was wondering what cookbook you were referring to? I'm looking to buy some soon, so recommendations are always appreciated!
